Kim Kardashian's engagement ring 'wins' in tribe's encounter of the bling

It's the battle of the bling among the Kardashian Klan. Newly engaged Kim Kardashian now leads the pack of diamond-wearing women in her family, now that she's rocking a 20.5-carat engagement ring from New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries. Though sister Khloé's 12.5-carat engagement bling from Lakers star Lamar Odom was once the envy of her siblings, Kim's new accessory takes the cake."Kim wins! Kim's is the largest!" sister Kourtney told People. Humphries' extravagant gift wasn't just a surprise to Kim – the massive sparkler equally shocked the reality star's family. "We had no idea [about the engagement]," Kourtney added. "We were both surprised at the dinner when Kim came out with her big rock and she started waving it in the air!"

The ring, which features a 16.5-carat emerald-cut center stone flanked by two 2-carat trapezoids, likely weighs about 4 ounces and possibly more if the ring is set in heavy platinum, Jennifer Gandia, co-owner of NYC's Greenwich Jewelers, told the Daily News.

In terms of weight: imagine strapping a deck and a half of cards on your finger. "A ring that heavy would become uncomfortable for most women," Gandia said. But alas, if there's one thing we've learned, it's that Kim Kardashian is not like most women.

While Kim Kardashian was off holidaying in one of the most glamorous locations in the world – Monte Carlo, her sister Kourtney Kardashian was visiting one of the most stylish and exciting locations – New York City.
Kourtney Kardashian was making a very fast trip to New York city with some shopping and a visit with friends on the itinerary. She took her son Mason along with her, and he was all smiles at the airport for the cameras. Kourtney left boyfriend Scott Disick in Las Vegas though, so had more time for clothes shopping!
Kourtney hasn’t said anything publicly about her sister Kim Kardashian’s surprise engagement announcement yet. Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian had only been dating for 6 months so it took some Kardashian family members by shock!

Kim Kardashian was once again showing off those stunning curves in a light coloured flowing summer gown recently on a trip to Monaco! Kardashian was accompanied by new fiance Kris Humphries as they enjoyed the sun and surf, then attended a fashion show.
The fashion show was the “Amber Fashion Show”, an annual charity event which usually draws a lot of celebrities and was held at the Meridien Beach Plaza this year.
Kim Kardashian fans were recently shocked by the quick engagement announcement between Kim and Kris Humphries. The couple have only been dating for 6 months, leading to speculation by some that it was too rushed. Rob Kardashian is one of those concerned by the speed of the relationship, apparently saying he doesn’t think the marriage will work! Not a nice thing for a brother to say about his sisters upcoming nuptials.
