At the awards, Dannii Minogue was crowned TV Personality of the Year - despite her exit from The X Factor. Pandora Breakthrough of the Year was won by Ellie Goulding, Writer of the Year went to actress, writer and comedienne Dawn French, and Band of the Year was The Saturdays.

As her wedding to Kris Humphries rapidly approaches, Kim Kardashian is spending some quality time with her future in-laws. The reality star, 30, who is set to marry the NBA player at the end of this summer, celebrated the Fourth of July with her future hubby's family and friends in his native Minnesota.

According to Humphries, Kardashian had some reservations about not spending the holiday with her family, who most often times stick together during holidays. "How do I convince KimKardashian that minnesota is better than L.A.?" he wrote on Twitter before the weekend. 

 

But, it looks like Kardashian was happy with her decision to spend time in the North Star State, tweeting, "Kind of obsessed with Lake Minnetonka! Boats & O's!!!," alongside a picture Humphries took of her behind the wheel of a boat.

Humphries also tweeted a photo of the E! reality star jet skiing on the lake with the caption, "Look at KimKardashian tearing up the lake!"Kardashian, who spent time with Humphries' older sister Kaela this past weekend, compared the atmosphere on the lake to one of her favorite party spots.  

 

"It's like Vegas on the lake over here!" she tweeted. Humphries proposed to the reality star in May with a reported $2 million custom-designed 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond engagement ring. The couple's wedding will be televised on E! in a two-hour long special.

Kim Kardashian is becoming a regular on womens magazine covers and has had yet another to her portfolio – appearing on the cover of the August edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.
She looks different to her normal style on a magazine cover – she normally tends to be wearing a bikini or dressed in some ultra-glamorous gown. This time she is simply wearing a ripped sweatshirt! Because it’s Kim Kardashian she manages to pull it off and looks sexy in casual gear.
Kim has had a huge 2011 and this is perhaps her 15th magazine cover so far. She has been frantic preparing for her upcoming wedding and we can expect a LOT of new magazine covers after that event.
The issue will be available on July 12 and features an extensive interview with Kardashian. Kim blogged about the cover, saying: “I’m on the cover of the August issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine! What do you think of the cover? I love it!

Kim Kardashian has had a few issues adjusting to life with fiance Kris Humphries including how the hell to reach him for a kiss unless he bends down and she gets on tippy toes. Kardashian is a meagre 5 foot 2 inches in height and Humphries is a massive 6 foot 9 inches in height. It’s quite a sight seeing the two together.
Well Kim has decided to get into some massive high heels to deal with the problem. Kardashian was spotted in a pair of six inch black espadrille style platform pumps in Beverly Hills recently. Somehow she managed to stagger to her car in the massive shoes, and luckily she had a driver for the day, so she didn’t need to put those massive shoes on the pedals!
Kardashian is going to see a baseball game in Minnesota tonight, and we can only assume that fiance Humphries should be in attendance.
Kim has been in frantic wedding preparation mode in the past few weeks, with additional trips to Vera Wang’s designer shop in New York this week and a vocal undertaking to make it to size 2 before the wedding! How Kim is going to squeeze her curves into such a small dress is yet to be seen.
E! network is going to film the wedding, which will involve the entire Kardashian family. Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner will be bridal assistants, while Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian will be maids of honour. Mason will be a very cute ring bearer.
The Kardashians have already arranged a fleet of luxury Rolls Royce Phantoms to drive wedding guests to the ceremony and reception. Kim has also been taking some dancing lessons with Mark Ballas – she is really going full steam with the wedding preparation!

Kim Kardashian is used to pressure filled situations because of her frequent public appearances and product launches. But in the coming week she has an especially stressful appearance – she will be meeting fiance Kirs Humphries’ extended family in his home town in Minnesota.
Kardashian dna Humphries have not announced the date for the wedding yet, but they do appear to be making arrangements very quickly. Kourtney Kardashian accompanied Kim recently to a wedding gown boutique in New York, where Kim checked out a few new designs to narrow down on possible wedding gowns.
The designer she is working with is Vera Wang, a close friend of the Kardashians and sure to make an elegant wedding gown for Kim. Staff at the boutique were asked to sign a confidentiality agreement so Kim’s gown design is a secret until the wedding.

Kim Kardashian enlists Gunnar Peterson and Tracy Anderson to help shed pre-wedding pounds

With Kim Kardashian's August nuptials fast approaching, the bride-to-be has called upon A-lister's most trusted trainers, Gunnar Peterson and Tracy Anderson to help her melt away an excess 15 pounds and shimmy into a size 2 wedding dress. The extravagant Vera Wang gowns are yet to be chosen and in an effort to find the perfect two - one for the vows and one for the reception - she has tried on over 15 different frocks!
At a curvaceous size 4 and 125 pounds, celebrity instructor Tracy Anderson has her client focused on a total body workout--sometimes twice a day. Tracy tells Life & Style, "We don't want to take away Kim's amazing curves, so we just do specific movements to tighten the skin and to pull the muscles tight against the bone."

To switch up her work out, Kim turns to Gunnar Peterson who has the star sweating with curls and lunges two to three times per week. Alternating between the two hardcore trainers and upping her visits to Barry's Bootcamp, where Kim powers through an hour of high-intensity interval training, she's intent on loosing those last 15 pounds.

Even Project Runway host, Heidi Klum is helping the socialite out. The two went on a 4-mile-run the morning of June 26 together in NYC. "We took a walking break and Kim was the one who pushed us to start running again," confesses Heidi. She adds, "I don't think she needs to do much, but I think every girl gives a little extra before walking down the aisle."

Even though Heidi Klum is a work out buddy and business associate, she still didn't make the cut for guest list. "The list is very controlled," admits Kim's pal. "They had to cut out a lot of people. There aren't lots of new friends or work associates on Kim and Kris' guest list." A-listers like Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez and Heidi may not be the only ones feeling like they're getting the cold shoulder: even best friends Brittny Gastineau and La La Vazquez won't make up the bridal party.
