Kim Kardashian and her sisters "pile on the makeup" because their late
father, former O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, hired a
professional makeup artist for them when they were girls, to teach them
how to use the stuff. According to an interview for the National
Enquirer, Kim quoted her dad as saying: "My daughters are going to start
to wear makeup, and I want you guys to look at least presentable." Kim
went on to say, "...which I thought was really cool." But maybe he
accidentally hired someone formerly associated with the circus?
Kim Kardashian is referring to her Kardashian sisters, Kourtney and
Khloe. They learned about the art of beauty enhancement together: "And
we've turned out to be the biggest trannies because of it," Kim gushed.
Huh? Does she mean that their frequently overdone faces might resemble
those of transsexual entertainers?
Right from the start, Kim Kardashian admits, "We had publicists and people who would tell us, 'Girls, tone it down. Stop wearing all the makeup.' " This could have been good, well-meant advice. It's one of the things a celeb hires a publicist for, after all.
"But then we would read on our blogs - like in the comments and everything - and everyone was like, 'What lipstick is this, what mascara do you use?'" Ok, whom should Kim Kardashian believe—the pros or the wanna-bes? Right! She made a bad choice, and all that expensive advice just gurgled down the drain. "We were like, 'We love make-up, so why try and be what we're not?'
It doesn't seem fair—blaming something like this on the dead father, who may have had only the best of intentions. But if he meant to get the three noticed, well, his efforts did the job—not to mention springing O.J. If the glove fits...
